GRANDPA’S YOGURT CAKE

3 CUPS FLOUR
2 CUPS SUGAR
1 TSP BAKING POWDER
3 BEATEN EGGS
1 CUP YOGURT ( I USE MOSTLY LEMON BUT ORANGE IS GOOD TOO)
1 TSP VANILLA
¾ CUP OIL
MIX DRY INGREDIENTS TOGETHER TO COMBINE. ADD TO THE EGGS, YOGURT, VANILLA AND OIL. BEAT WELL.
POUR INTO TWO GREASED AND FLOURED LOAF PANS. BAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR 50-60 MINUTUES UNTIL GOLDEN.
TEST WITH A TOOTHPICK FOR DONENESS.
I SOMETIMES WILL ALSO ADD POPPYSEEDS TO THE BATTER IF I WANT LEMON POPPYSEED. TASTE THE BATTER, IF YOU WANT
MORE OF A LEMON FLAVOR, ADD A COUPLE DROPS OF LEMON EXTRACT TO THE BATTER.
A DELICIOUIS, HEAVY, POUND CAKE TYPE OF LOAF. GOOD PLAIN OR WITH A SCOOP OF ICE CREAM. IT ALSO FREEZES well

ENJOY!
