Mary Smith Admin/Owner
Hello, I'm Mary Smith Owner/Creator of Createful Heart Digis & Design. I am a wife, been married to my hubby 33 years, he also served in the military for 20 years. He is also co-owner & designer of Createful Heart Design. My interest with making cards began in the early 1980's when I decided that Hallmark was getting just a little too pricey for me, and I thought, well hey, I think I could do this too! So, with a little imagination and some neat watercolor pencils I set up my crafting on the kitchen table... there I focused making cards for Anniversaries, Birthdays and so on... each card was created just for that person. Since I drew out each card, it would take approximately 1 to 2 hours. But I figured since we were first married and didn't have a lot of money to spend on extra's like birthday presents and such, then the card would be the "gift". I got started with making digital images back in 2002,.. when I first got PSP. I was determined to learn the process of making cool images... the process was a bit difficult at first, but I did learn. My first "scribble" came out as a vase with flowers...then I used to color in all my images...never thinking of just making them outlined. Not until 2011 that I decided to create outlined images...and first just offered them for "free"... I started my Createful Heart Digis & Design in February of 2017. I decided on the name Createful because I am reminded to be Grateful to God for all my talents.

I live in the north west of Britain on the Wirral peninsula which is close to Liverpool and north Wales.  I'm single and work full time as an Activities Coordinator for a charity called Abbeyfield which provides care for older people.  I also work part time as a class tutor for a local stamping company teaching workshops every other month.  Like lots of card makers I started off as a cross stitcher and then progressed to stamping after going to a card making workshop many years ago.  I love working with stamps and digi stamps and have an addiction for pretty papers and for Promarkers.

Our DT Member Caz Smith has decided to leave our team.  We thank her so much for her lovely designs and talent that she shared with us.  She will be missed.  We wish her well.

I started making hand made cards in January 2018 as a way to honor my sister who passed away unexpectedly.  All of her card making supplies were given to me and now I create cards almost every day using her tools, most of which I didn't know what they were used for when I made my first cards.  I love making cards to give away to other people, Especially card with a message of encouragement and hope.  I live in the mountains of Western Pennsylvania with my husband, our son and our dog Karley, who is a mix between a yellow lab and a pit bull.

I live in a small town in South Carolina that is very rich in the arts and has lots of opportunities for art classes.  I have been making cards and paper crafts for over 18 years.  I love paper most of all and cannot resist a pretty pad of new papers.   I have also taught and demonstrated at several stamp shows and conventions.  I am retired now and that allows for lots of time to create.   I also make Ukrainian-style Pysanky eggs.

Clara Kubert - DT

My interest in card making began in the late 1980’s when my daughter went to summer camp. I would stamp all of my letters and envelopes to her. She still has those letters! Over the years I continued to stamp and also teach and demonstrate card making.

Card making and paper crafting is a favorite of mine, but I also enjoy cross stitching and quilting.

I live in central Massachusetts, have a son and daughter, and 3 granddaughters. I’m also mom to 3 little rescue dogs.

Hello I am Amanda, known to everyone as Manders and I live in the UK.  My beloved grandmother started my love of crafting and had me knitting by the age of 7, I used to happily knit my friends presents, a jumper being the most common.  Someone still has theirs years later.  I grew from that to Tapestry and then, Cross Stitch and am a known as a proficient criss stitcher having been on a stitching Dt many years ago.
I cane to paper craft in 2000 and looking back at some of my makes now I know I have advanced.  I enjoy most techniques although some crafting techniques I am yet to master …I have a fear of gilding flakes.  I enjoy paper crafting cards and I also love working with MDF, and I can’t wait to show you my take on these beautiful designs.
Pam Duncan - DT
I have been involved in crafts all of my life, having been raised in a Christian home by very talented parents who both created many handmade gifts not only at Christmas but throughout the year. My love for photography naturally turned me to scrapbooking for many years. During this time, I owned a small craft supply store, had monthly workshops and taught scrapbooking and other crafting skills. Then as my children started their own lives, stamping and card making became more interesting to me. I used to think card making didn’t take as many supplies and would be easier to travel. Boy was I wrong! Now, I continue to enjoy a semi-retired single life on the shores of Lake Murray in South Carolina. Crafting and Photography take up a huge amount of my everyday life as I am involved in card making for donations (Christian Card Makers), design team (Polka Dot Orchard) and marketing cards for local and online sales. I am also a very active blogger since January, 2016. Most of my postings tend to be more of a tutorial style. With my Copic markers in their handy storage bags ready for travel, I am especially blessed to be able to enjoy the craft I love while enjoying visiting new places, meeting new people and starting new adventures.
